How does a livestream Zoom class work?
You will be sent the links when you sign up. We will also remind you of up coming class and include the link. Click the link to enter the livestream webinar. The class will be broadcasted at the scheduled times, both during the day and early evening or weekends, depending on your class schedule. You will attend via computer or any device that has an internet connection, a webcam, speakers, and a microphone.
At least 15 minutes to an hour before the class is scheduled to begin, click the link to enter the class. This will give you the opportunity to check your speakers, microphone, and camera before class begins.
What web browser should I use for a livestream course?
The webinar platform works with most broswers. Please make sure you are using the most updated version of whichever browser you intend to use.
Why can’t I hear the livestream course?
The webinar uses Internet audio, meaning you will listen to the livestream through your computer. The best way to connect your audio is to use a USB headset connected to your computer. If you don’t have a headset your computer speakers will work, but may have some background noise and can echo depending on the connection quality.
Test your sound before the course:
Test your sound about 15 minutes before the course by going to a website with audio (YouTube or Pandora are good options). If your speakers work with that site, they should work just fine for the course.
Troubleshooting audio:
If you are having trouble hearing the livestream course, try the following:
- Make sure your speakers are not on mute and the volume is turned up
- Clear your temporary internet files and cookies
- Try an alternate web browser
Do I have to be tech savvy to take a livestream course?
Our livestream courses are designed to streamline your user experience from start to finish. All you need is a computer or tablet with internet connection, a web camera, audio output (headphones or speakers), and a microphone (this can be the microphone built in to your device).
Can I take my course on my smartphone or tablet?
Yes. Our courses are designed to allow students to study on any device with Internet access and a browser, including smartphones and tablets. Course final exams and unit quizzes should be taken on a PC or laptop.
Our courses are iPad compatible, but we recommend using a computer for a better course experience. If you decide to use an iPad, please be sure to download Google Chrome as we have found that this browser works best with our systems.
Please note: If you wish to complete your courses on an iPad, we require iPad(s) running the latest iOS to ensure the best experience and also security for our users.
Can I complete my entire course on my home computer or laptop?
Yes. Our courses are designed to allow students to complete all requirements over the Internet. You may access and complete your course on any device with Internet access and a browser.
What are the Georgia State Requirements for a Salesperson license?
Step 1. Meet Georgia real estate license requirements as outlined by the Georgia Real Estate Commission:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a high school diploma or GED
Step 2. Meet ONE of the three following Georgia real estate license educational requirements:
- Complete the required 75-hour Salesperson pre-license course
- Complete a minimum of 10 quarter hours or six semester hours of coursework eligible for a major in real estate from a U.S. or Canadian accredited college or university or successfully complete a course in real property, agency, or contracts from a U.S. or Canadian accredited school of law along with official transcript to determine acceptability of coursework.
- Provide proof you completed at least 75 hours of pre-license course work approved by the real estate regulatory agency of another state or province of Canada along with a letter from the agency that verifies that the course work is approved in that state or province.
Step 3. Pass a background check.
Step 4. Register for and pass the real estate licensing examination by earning a score of 72% or higher.
Step 5. Obtain sponsorship from a licensed Georgia broker.
Step 6. Apply for your Georgia salesperson license.
Step 7. Complete a 25-hour post-license course.
